Broadcasting Facility
Government through Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has established state-of-the-art broadcasting facility for 24x7 telecast of DTH TV channels. The setup supports the entire broadcasting workflow—including content management, playout, live programme transmission, RF equipment, antenna control systems and monitoring facilities—utilising four uplink antennas (three 11-metre and one 9.3-metre). This enables the transmission of both live and recorded programmes with high-quality audio and video, ensuring an uninterrupted broadcast on television and social media.
Content Development Facility
As a part of Content Development Facility, MeitY has established modern TV studio facility at BISAG-N, Gandhinagar and New Delhi office. The studios are equipped with advanced audio-visual production tools for recording, live broadcasting. The studios are fully integrated with live interaction capabilities.
Editing & Animation Facility
BISAG-N has a modern content development ecosystem outfitted with professional editing suites and advanced 2D and 3D animation tools. This infrastructure fully supports the creation of high-quality educational, training and awareness content at BISAG-N, Gandhinagar and New Delhi Office.
Gujarat SATCOM Network
Gujarat SATCOM Network provides a facility for interactive
distance education, training, Skill Development, Health,
Agriculture, awareness and extension.
Government of Gujarat through the Department of
Science and Technology has been telecasting 16 educational
DTH TV channels under ‘VANDE Gujarat’ banner using the
state-of-the-art broadcast infrastructure available at
BISAG-N.

SWAYAM Prabha Programme
Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education,
Government of India has been telecasting 22 educational DTH
TV channels under ‘SWAYAM Prabha’ programme. Content is being
provided by the stake holders of these channels Viz. CEC,
NPTEL(IITs), IGNOU & IIT PAL. These Channel have been
Telecast using state of the art telecast facility established
by the Government at BISAG-N.

PM eVIDYA Programme
PM eVIDYA is a unique and innovative venture by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. under this Programme CIET, NCERT runs 12 Education DTH TV Channels . Content is being provided by CIET. These Channels have been categorized by Class 1 to Class 12. These Channel have been Telecast using state of the art telecast facility established by the Government at BISAG-N.
DigiShala
Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India has been telecasting ‘DigiShala’, a dedicated TV channel for Digital Payment. Using this channel MeitY has planned to leverage satellite based distance education to provide significant impetus to its ‘Digital Literacy’ programmes. ‘DigiShala’ would further provide greater control to execute such strategic initiatives.
